Training on a continuous basis, one learns a little at a time; the student must not take breaks in training as it will result in a step backward. One should always STRIVE FOR ADVANCEMENT and when one does advance, do not boast or brag. Self-praise and over-confidence is a sickness which corrupts training.

-6th Training rule of Tiek Soo Chang Ch'uan Fa

Tiek Soo Chang Ch'uan Fa

Martial Science is a necessary tool in the world today. A person must be able to protect themselves in an exponentially increasing number of situations. The individual walking down the street, the woman walking to her car at night in a parking garage, and the nurse tending to a mental patient are all targets of the same individual: the attacker. The art of Tiek Soo Chang Ch'uan Fa (TSC) is an ancient and beautiful system of Chinese temple boxing dating to the Sung Dynasty, though essence of our system can be traced further back into India and the royal family.

Only those listed on this site are currently certified to teach Tiek Soo Chang Ch'uan Fa and are recognized by the American Tiek Soo Chang Association and the World Dong Soo Chang Federation under the Roy Branch of the Lee Hombu. All students of any black belts claiming to be of the Roy Branch not listed here that became students, continued training,  or ranked  post-2012 are not recognized or certified by either organization and ranking is not valid. If you fall under this category and want to be recognized,  you need to contact the Regional Administrative Director, Sifu Matthew J. Nielsen of the Dallas Chinese Boxing Center for information and requirements-940-493-0293
